Genetron® 422D (R-422D) Refrigerant

Features
• Non-ozone depleting, non-flammable, low toxicity, and low capacity.
• Can replace HCFC-22 in many cases without having to change compressor lubricant.
• Also has a lower discharge temperature than HCFC-22 which may extend compressor longevity.
• May be used with alkyl benzene (AB), mineral oil (MO), and polyolester (POE) lubricants.
• May also be used with existing HCFC-22 thermostatic expansion valves (in most cases).

• Serves as a long-term, non-ozone depleting replacement for R-22 in low and medium temperature commercial refrigeration systems.

Applications
• Commercial Refrigeration—Including supermarket display cases, food preservation and food processing as well as ice machines.

Notes
• Designed for new equipment and retrofits.
• Suitable for direct expansion evaporators.
• Not suitable for use in systems that employ flooded evaporators.
